16 But (A)avoid (B)godless and empty chatter, for [a]it will lead to further ungodliness, 17 and their word will spread like [b]gangrene. Among them are (C)Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have gone astray from the truth saying that (D)the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset (E)the faith of some.
